Post-doc Job posting
The group has a job opening for
one post-doctoral fellow starting fall 2015. The
successful candidate should have a strong background in
General Relativity and Theoretical High Energy Physics,
with priority to experience with modern scattering amplitudes.
Collaboration opportunities include not only local group members, but also members of Israel's active research community in Theoretical High Energy Physics and Gravitation (including also the Weizmann Institute, Tel-Aviv University, the Technion and Be'er-Sheba) and group members are encouraged to attend the weekly Israeli Joint HET Seminar.
The position is for 2+1 years. The salary offered is a typical salary for a post-doc in Israel (about 10,000 NIS/month which is about 2,600$/month) and it should cover typical local expenses such as rent and car maintenance. Candidates often win a Lady Davis scholarship (see especially this page). They are also encouraged to apply for other scholarships.
